Vanna 3yr Old, 14 h , Welsh x Connemara Pony Mare
Vanna is a well mannered Welsh/Connemara cross pony. Her Sire is Foothills Waterford, a very well known Connemara Sire. Vanna can be registered Half- Connemara. She has wonderful breeding and was bred to be a sport pony. Vanna's dam is Ruby, a Medium pony featured here at Cardinal Stables. Ruby is a show pony with ribbons and championships in the Hunter Over Fences show ring. Ruby can pack you around a 2'9" course and we have videos available (Click Here For Ruby's Page) here on our website for your viewing. Vanna is highly suitable for the hunter ring, Pony Club, 4-H, Lesson Programs, foxhunting etc. Nothing bothers her. She stands for the farrier and Vet. Leads and stands, ties, trailers, bathes, etc. Nice ground manners. She is not "marish" or herd bound. She is currently Walking/Trotting/Cantering and going over Crossrails Parallels, Coops, Lattice Jumps, Flower Jumps, etc quietly with an 8yr old rider. She can be ridden in the field at any gait you like with simply a halter and lead rope. She is a very smart girl. Sweet, Quiet & Consistent. Safe for inexperienced students to groom, pick her feet, tack, lead, mount, dismount, etc. She is safe for beginner riders. Bold, Brave and not Spooky. Vanna has been on the trails already and is very comfortable in that environment. She has spent a large amount of time schooling in the field and is super safe in that environment as well. Cute and consistent movement. Comfortable gaits. Great Jumping Form, Bold & Willing. Honest to the jumps. Great youth mount that can take you in any direction you want to go!! Vanna was started under saddle correctly by our facility. She is working on leg yields, bending, form, cues, etc. But she has a wonderful start and is ready for a job. $3500
