SCHS/Mt. Airy Spring Horse Show Congratulations Beverly!! Jim Hazel presented our very own Beverly McGee with the Presidents Award in Memory of his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Hazel!! What an honor!!! A warm congrats also to all of our kids & adults and horses who did an awesome job! We had old students and horses as well as several new rider/horse combinations and they all worked together GREAT! We also want to recognize our students who were unable to attend due to the implementation of the rain date because of the rain. They aready had this weekend booked and were not able to come... we wish you were there and we missed you Here are the results:
Tanna & Dun Berry Dandy Tanna and Dandy were a great pair as this was the first show for both horse and rider! They placed 2nd in Hunter Walk/Trot 18 & Under and 3rd Open Hunter Walk/Trot. Great Job!
Carol & Daisey Carol & Daisey are such a perfect Duo. They placed in EVERY class they entered including, 2nd place in Western Halter, 3rd in Open walk/Jog or Trot, 2nd in Western Walk/Jog and many, many more! Good Job Girls!!
Codi & Kid Rock Codi and Kid were a great team. They were another of our new horse/rider pairs. This was their first show for each. They placed 4th in Open Walk/Jog or Trot. There were 17 riders in this class! YOU ROCK!!!!
Montana & Magic Montana and magic have both been in many shows, however this was their first together. They both did great and placed 1st in Hunter Walk Only and 2nd in Hunter Walk/Trot! Excellent job!!
Laicey & Cherry Bomb Laicey & Cherry Bomb have been a team for awhile now and they are still going strong coming home with 2 Blue Ribbons, 2 Trophies, one 2nd place ribbon and Three 3rds! Laicey and Cherry Bomb also competed in Canter classes for the first time for both of them. Way To Go!
Abigail & Magic This was Abigail's first lead line class. She and Magic were adorable. They placed first in Lead line!!
Bobbie & Amberfield's Musicana Bobbie took her new gelding, "A.J." in English Halter and placed 1st winning a blue ribbon and trophy for her new horse.
