Update on King Caption-

Hi Bobbie,

He is doing great!  He is such a funny gentleman and I love him a lot.  I have taken him on several trail rides and he has been unflappable.  What a treat to not have to constantly be worried about spooking and shying.  The whole barn, and our vet think he is just the best.  I am so happy I bought him.  Thank you for everything.

Update on Burdhee-

"Hi Bobbie,

Just a quickie to let you know how very, very pleased we are with our little girl.  Somehow, her name has transpired into “Bella”, and she comes galloping (with her tail in the air) when we call to her.  Her nickname just now is “Belly Bella”, because she has become so plump!

She is the sweetest little girl we have ever met, and she is so willing to learn, so affectionate, and so intelligent….We really love her!

Bella is a wonderful, loving addition to the family. WE ADORE HER!!!!!

More later…"

Update on Top Hat 'N' Tails -

"Beverly,

Just thought you might be interested in an update on Top Hat 'N Tails.  He is such a wonderful pony.  He has the best personality.  He & Taylor adore each other.  Everywhere we take him people comment on how cute he is.  Taylor took him to the state fair show and showed him in large working pony.  It was first time jumping 2'6" for both of them and they placed 8 out of 30.  He is coming along so nicely.  We could not be more pleased with him."    Sincerely - Carolyn

Update on Merlin -

Hey Bobbie-

I hope all is well. Nelson (Merlin) is doing great and starting to fill in and actually look like a horse. I will attach a short video of him getting free lunged over a jump. I've free jumped him once at 3'3" and he makes it look easy and has scope to go higher...My husband changed his name to Nelson (there's a story behind that...) He's a really great horse and I will definitely use you guys again to purchase horses for myself or clients. Thanks!

Update on Justa' Breeze:

"Breeze is my baby, I cannot tell you how much fun we're having.  I discovered today that he loves Bananas, as well as my bottled water!!!

Hope you like the photos, we took them on Saturday.

I finally have the horse I had hoped to find one day.  I look forward to the coming years we will spend enjoying each others company. He really is one in a million."

Update on SSE PRiddy Lahdi:

"Bobbie
Here is a picture of Willow and I 's first medieval tourney. We were part of a demo for a library this past weekend with 12 other horses. She did a great job and acted like a pro. Everybody who met her fell in love. She seemed to really enjoy all the attention. Her medieval persona name is Willow dans la brune (Willow in the Mist).  Again thank you for giving us such a wonderful addition to our family. She is truly a treasure."

Update on "Mac":

"another great day with him.  He is exceeding expectations.  We are very happy, and he seems happy too.  We got him a stall ball to play with and he has been flinging it and playing with it and seem to really like it.  And he already has started nickering to Nancy and I, so he has learned quickly who we are.  I put his new halter on him today and then I was rubbing his head and he completely relaxed his whole head into my arms and closed his eyes.  Which was very sweet, though a bit heavy, ha ha."   - C.B. -NC

Update on "Del Rey":

"Hi Bobbie and Beverly,
Here is a picture of Megan and Del Rey last weekend. She's almost all shed out and looks gorgeous! I think you can tell from Megan's face how happy she is and how much happiness Del Rey has brought to us. We ride her about 3 - 4 times a week and the rest of the time she hangs out with her friends in the lush pastures. She's doing great and is spoiled rotten!

Update on Hershey Kiss aka "Ruby":

"She is doing great here!  I like her so much and I have always said I'm not a mare person... Maddie loves her too, she's a good pony.  My gelding and Ruby get along well and he is so sweet to her.  I was surprised how well they treat each other, like an old married couple."

Update on Grayson:

"Grayson got new shoes yesterday, he's the stuff, he is absolutely a doll. We will be taking him to May days this weekend for show and I will be taking some pictures and sending to you.

Fantastic horse and thank you so much for recommending him.  Hope all is well with you."

Update on Sonny Champagne:

"Hi,
Dex, aka Sonny, is doing great!  He has really shown his potential.  I
worked with a local dressage trainer with Dex for a month and he was a
breeze to train.  He is really willing to learn new things and has lots
of spunk.  I am currently teaching him the 'Spanish walk' - it is easier
than I thought it would be - LOL. I have taken him camping and out with
the local hunt club as well.  He's a keeper :-)
Thanks again!!"

Update on Cooper Sunrise:

"Bobbie,

Cooper is doing great! He went to a second show at the beginning of August and got a first out of 25 horses in his hunter hack class.  He never got spooky and was a perfect little man.  We bought him his first winter blanket for when it gets cold and he looks so cute in it!...Every morning when he goes out, he always takes a snooze in the grass. He lays flat on his side and goes right to sleep...it is so funny!  I have pictures of it, so when I get a chance I'll send them to you.  I hope all is well at your farm!  Talk to you soon!"

"I was very happy with my experience with Cardinal Riding Academy.  They have a wide selection of quality horses at an affordable price.  They were very honest and straight forward about the horses' strengths and weaknesses and I felt very confident with my purchase.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a horse or pony."               - Mary Von Werne

"We took Smokey to a show yesterday and he was FANTASTIC!  ...he jumped around like an old campaigner.  He pinned in every class except one...  He's been jumping scary stuff at home and jumps great out in the field.  He stood tied to the trailer quietly and then was ready to go in the ring without warm-up.

Please feel free to include me on your reference page. I'd be happy to tell people about Smokey (oh, and by the way, while he may have been dog-shy before, he totally ignores my pack of hounds.)"        - Allison Porter

"Cardinal Stables has amazing owners, there are not many barns you can trust 100%. I trust Beverly and Bobbie 100%. They tell it like it is, no sugar coating or leaving out important details. I just call them and let them know what I need and they get it for me, normally they already have it, or they find it. I have never had to return a horse or pony or had any problems. I have purchased ... from Cardinal Stables and when I decide I am ready for another horse or pony I will be calling on Cardinal Stables again."    Thanks for all you two do!"          -  Heidi Kovar

"Hi Bobbie

Everyone fell madly in love with the ponies!! They are all so special in their own way, and really and truly exceeded our expectations.  They are so handsome, calm and dignified. He was super affectionate with my kids right away.  And, it goes without saying that Peanut is a truly special guy. He has so much presence in a very quiet way - it's hard to take your eyes off him!!  He is unbelievably beautiful and has just breathtaking movement(!).  Of course, Magic is absolutely adorable with a super fun and cute personality.  We think they are all perfect!"   -  Sabrina Rabbit -MD

"I just wanted to give you an update on how Ivy has settled in- WE LOVE HIM!!  He and my Olden. colt have become best buddies!!  Anyway, my daughter is loving Ivy and developing confidence and skill everyday.  He is the first one to greet us at the fence. As you said, he used to be a stinker about being caught, but now we can go right up to him with the halter and he almost puts it on himself. Thanks again for this wonderful pony...I might be giving you a call about another pony for my son.!!"  - Robin Dozier

"Feature got here and settled right in.  The kids all came and showered him with hugs.  I turned him out in the field and he went right to eating grass...He is a really easy going fellow. The kids rode him and he was good.  The perfect amount of laziness as you said :-). He is a real sweetie and the kids love him."      - Robin Dozier         MD

"My experience in buying a horse through Cardinal Riding Academy is that they were honest and prompt. They answered my emails about horses for sale quickly and honestly. They understood what I was looking for in a horse. They did not attempt to show me horses that were unsuitable for my needs. The horse we bought has worked out great."

"Joker is great. He is quite a character and makes us laugh at the goofy things he does!  I don't have any really good pictures right now but I will try to make it a point to get some and e-mail them to you.  Hope things are going well for you & your family.  Take care"               - Tracey

Blythewood,  SC

"They are both doing beautifully!  Nugget is the "cute" pony at the barn and everyone is captivated by Outlaw and his "fairy tale" look (there are no other white ponies at the barn).  We adore Outlaw and cannot get in enough hugs and kisses!"

"Our prince is doing beautifully! We are getting ready to have our barn Christmas party. Outlaw is going to be the Mouse King from The Nutcracker! :) (That is if I get his cape made)."

"Emma and Outlaw went on their first Junior Fox Hunt last weekend! They did beautifully and that day has become Emma's newest "best day of her life".

"I have been looking for a Morgan for quite a while and found A.J. on  the Dreamhorse website. I took a chance and  from the moment I made the first call, everything was handled by Bobbie and Cardinal Stables promptly and professionally.

Bobbie spent a great deal of time with me when I came to see A.J. and answering all my questions.  She was very honest about his strengths and weaknesses, so we both could decide if he was a good match for me.  She even spent a tremendous amount of time and effort to make sure his registration papers were in order.  I've had A.J. home for three weeks and could not be happier.  He is everything that I wanted in a Morgan.  Thank you Bobbie and Cardinal Stables!"               - Elizabeth Strohman

"Bobbie,
Hi, I hope y'all had a good weekend.  Onyx seems to be doing well in his private paddock.  We have been grooming him and giving him lots of TLC.  I hope it stays dry today so we can ride.
Thanks again to you and to your mom for everything."

"Blessings, Maria"

"As first-time horse buyers, my husband and I really appreciated Bobbie and Beverly's honesty and expertise. Stonewall is the perfect horse for me--sane and level- headed, but with plenty of "go"... and all the beauty and personality of an Arabian.
We highly recommend Cardinal Stables and wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again."   - Amy and John Perez

"Hi Bobbie,

I had to leave the horses tonight, to tend to my human family…

Just wanted to say that we are VERY happy with Burdhee!  She is everything you said she would be….Happy, and affectionate and willing to learn and easy to get along with!

The whole way home, she chewed grass, and never set up a fuss, just was happy to arrive at her new home...

We all love her very much already.

Thank-you for all the information, and for your honest answers to my questions.

We will look forward to keeping in touch!"

"the babies are doing great, growing and very beautiful... Our farrier loves them"

"You guys can use us any time for a reference ... you were great to work with holding the horses for us during a death in the family. Also you were honest and helped us so much in horse basics with us never owning horses before."     - Hookie Riley

"P.J. is doing very well! I love him very much! I am calling him Pilot because of your farm where I found him... He did very well in his first hunt season...I have ridden him in some Hunter Pace events with the Sedgefield Hunt and Red Mountain Hounds Hunt. He took a first place at the Sedgefield Hunt. We are going to go to hunt school with the Sedgefield hunt because they work with you directly with the hounds. He seems to really enjoy the hunt though and you can tell he really listens for the hounds.
He loves the trail rides and mostly loves to canter and trot on the trail."            - Kelly Brann

"He is doing great; he is very fun and spunky and I have little girls who are in love with him.  I really enjoy trail riding him, too... He is very happy here. I've attached a photo. Oh, did you know he knows how to pull a wagon?"
